A note from  LOUISE GREEN 

I have been creating handmade couture millinery from my studio in West Los Angeles for the past 27 years.  For Spring Summer 2016 I am inspired to bring a fresh new viewpoint.  It is a thrill to share with you not only some of the pieces from my new collection but also my passion for Vintage Clothing.  

Style and the freedom to put new and different looks together is a never-ending source of joy for me.  It is a large part of my personal fashion aesthetic. With this Lookbook I give you more of myself.  More to ponder and dream about  when you choose that perfect hat!  This Lookbook was created with my friend, and former New York City Ballet dancer Susie Londoner who photographed these dreamy and decadent images.  We have been promising ourselves this collaboration for many years and it has finally become a reality!  We pooled our vintage pieces, put them on a huge rolling rack and put these looks together as we shot.  The body is a blank canvas waiting to be painted.  Spontaneously styling these unexpected looks was a fun, inspiring and creative experience. 

The hat and clothes you wear are a reflection of your own personality, creativity and how you present yourself in this world.  I am a firm believer that there are no rules when it comes to fashion.  It's such a personal thing!  My intent is to present you with new ideas of how modern vintage hats can be worn.  Working together with Susie was a blast and we are thrilled to share the results.  We hope you love our new Louise Green Millinery LOOKBOOK. We encourage you to reach into your own closet and be inspired.
